Things we still have not done…

We often end up doing the same things each time we go, and thats because we really like doing these things. Thats fine but we also have a list of things we have not yet done that we must get round to:

1. Visit the new Aquatica park

2. Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean

3. Visit the Everglades

4. Go down to the keys

5. Visit downtown Orlando

6. Have an Indian Meal in Florida

7. Visit the Northern Fl beaches

8. Helicopter ride

10. Hot Air balloon ride

11. Fly to Orlando on Virgin Upper Class

12. Hire bikes

I will never forget ……..

Our Florida holidays have created some deep long lasting memories, I may sort these at some point but for now in no particular order:

1. Seeing the Columbia Space Shuttle take off in 2002

2. Walking around Epcot on a stunning day not realising the damage Hurricane Katrina was doing not far away.

3. Fantasmic, Soarin and the Lion king Show

4. Early morning jog at Bridgewater crossing when I saw dozens of hot air baloons floating above me

5. Anand meeting Stitch

6. Snow at Celebration

7. Eating at the Booma Lodge

8. AB’s accident at the beach

9. Watching the sunrise at Gasperilo Island

10. Watching the Sunset on Clearwater beach

11. First time I drove across the Courtney Campbell Causeway.

12. Eating at Golden Coral

13. The Girls sitting in the double buggy at Disney

14. Meeting Mickey and Minnie

15. Dancing water fountain in Epcot when we said “dont get wet”

16. Sonic boom of Shuttle on landing

Our Last Visit - April 2008

We were rather anxious at visiting Orlando in April over the Easter / spring Break period. Yes, it was very busy and we had to plan even more carefully to make sure we avoided the crowds.

All in all it was another fantastic trip, the weather was superb. We realised how good it had been when we returned to the UK and saw snow on our first day back.

Highlights included:

Bok Gardens
Shopping at Premium Outlet Stores
Tea in Celebration
Building a Light Sabre in Downtown Disney
Beach trip to Caldesi Island
